UWE visit to cement plants in Chattisgarh - November 2016

In preparation for a Cement Mission to India in late February/early March 2017, representatives of UWE (Union Wallonne des Entreprises) visited India in November 2016.

Visit by UNIDO India to study Cement sector in Wallonia - October 2016

On 18 and 19 October 2016, a delegation headed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) in India, in collaboration with AWEX Delhi, visited Wallonia to study the cement sector and interact with the local players in the cement sector. Brussels Airlines connects Belgium to India again


Direct flights between Brussels Airport and Mumbai in 2017

As from March 2017 Brussels Airlines will set sail for Mumbai. The Indian metropolis will be connected to Brussels Airport 5 times a week. The Belgian airline will, for the first time, land on the Asian continent and further strengthen its hub in Brussels in close cooperation with Star Alliance partner Air India.
